The artisan around in Venice gave an inside look at tradition, craftmanship, legacies & family business. It as a truly amazing experience beyond the usual tourist sites & tours. We wouldn’t have gotten access to these artisans as a regular visitor to Venice, meeting & interacting with the heirs/owners. Our most memorable experience was with the fashion designer Antonia Sautter. She went all out to find us the proper costume to fit our body structure and meticulously checked the accessories and detail of each garment. She made us feel very comfortable & confident dressing up as the king & queen of Venice. She dresses the real kings & queens, yet she took the time to be with us, and helped us treasure the moments in her atelier. Her passion, attention to detail, entrepreneurial spirit and humility inspired us and touched our hearts.
